What Conditions are Treated at a Medical Clinic?
A medical clinic can treat non-life threatening conditions such as strep throat, sinus infections, and urinary tract infections. Essentially, the physicians at medical clinics treat the same conditions as primary care doctors. Medical clinics, however, have extended hours so patients can receive treatment at times that are more convenient for them.
TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track is open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The board-certified providers at our medical clinic have focused their practice on acute, non-life threatening injuries and illnesses, such as diarrhea, cuts, fractures, and dehydration. Rather than take time off work or wait several days or weeks to be seen by a general practitioner, our patients can receive treatment at our medical clinic exactly when they need it. We can also perform in-house diagnostic imaging so our patients don’t have to visit another facility for an X-ray or EKG.
With offices in Westchase, Carrollwood, and South Tampa, we are conveniently located for residents of Palma Ceia, Citrus Park, Oldsmar, and throughout the Tampa Bay area.
