LaToya Martin, APRN

LaToya is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Born and raised in sunny South Florida, in the city of Pompano Beach. She graduated with her first bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL in 2006. Shortly thereafter she obtained her second bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing in May 2008 from the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL. Upon completion, she worked as a Registered Nurse in a Level II Pediatric /Adult trauma ER at St. Joseph Children’s Hospital of Tampa for 5 years. She completed her master’s degree at South University in 2013, located in Royal Palm Beach, FL. LaToya has worked as a provider in the settings of primary pediatric care, adult/pediatric emergency care and most recently specialty care, at a Gastrointestinal (GI) Practice.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones and her dog, Onyx! She is a big fan of shoe shopping, concerts, trying new restaurants, and taking “destination locations” vacations. Her personal motto is “Whatever you do today, do it with kindness!”
