Do Your Walk in Clinics Provide Emergency Medical Care?
Our walk in clinics can provide emergency medical care for conditions that are non-life-threatening. At TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track, we commonly see patients who have sustained lacerations while performing home repairs, suffered minor burns while preparing meals, and fractured bones during athletic activities. While these conditions can sometimes require the eventual attention of a specialist, our health clinic can provide initial treatment, including sutures for lacerations and splints for fractures. And, because we offer in-house X-rays, lab draws, EKGs, and other diagnostic procedures, you will not have to worry about visiting the emergency room, an imaging center, or an off-site laboratory.
In addition to emergencies involving injuries, we can treat common illnesses, including diarrhea, strep throat, and urinary tract infections. This can prove especially beneficial for patients whose primary care physicians lack availability as well as for those who do not have general practitioners. Because our walk in clinics are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, you can receive medical care at a time that suits your schedule. And, because TGH Urgent Care has offices in South Tampa, Carrollwood, and Westchase, you can visit the family medical clinic that is most conveniently located for you, whether you live in Citrus Park, Hyde Park, near MacDill AFB, or anywhere else in the Tampa Bay area.
