At Fast Track Urgent Care, Only Qualified Board-Certified Providers Will Treat:

We Routinely Treat the Following:

Cough
This is one of our most common complaints. A cough can stem from viral or bacterial infections, and also from allergies, asthma, heartburn, medications, and many other causes. We will educate you about the reason for your cough, when to use antibiotics, and when another treatment is appropriate. Our board-certified providers evaluate and treat patients based on their findings. If necessary, a chest X-ray, lab studies, and nebulizer treatments can be performed on-site.

Fevers
A temperature in a child three months old is treated far differently than one being experienced by a man in his thirties. We will do a complete exam and take a thorough history to uncover the cause of the fever and treat it appropriately. Along the way we will discuss warning signs and what to watch out for.

Urinary Tract Infections
More often than not, patients know when they have a UTI. However, it is imperative to find out whether it has gone to your kidneys and whether or not something else is causing the pain. We can perform a urinalysis in the office and culture the urine to give you a definitive answer and prescribe the appropriate treatment.

Laceration Repair

Drainage of Abscess
People often confuse deep skin infections for spider bites. When these get big, antibiotics alone will not fix the problem; the infection must be drained. Sometimes the wound is packed with antibiotic-containing cloth to help it heal quicker.

Removal of Foreign Body
A bit of glass from a broken window. A needle from a palm tree. Lots of things can get stuck in your skin. If necessary, we can order an X-ray to locate the object. Once found, the area is numbed and the object is removed with a scalpel and forceps. Your tetanus shot will be updated if needed and antibiotics may be prescribed.

Burns
We commonly treat minor burns in our clinic. As part of our treatment, we discuss wound care and treatment, how to minimize scarring, prescribe antibiotics if appropriate, and update immunizations if needed. If no removal of burnt tissue is required, there is no additional cost other than the office visit and tetanus shot. If removal of tissue is needed, the cost will vary from $99 to $211, depending on the size and severity of the burn. The patient will be informed of the cost prior to any procedure being performed.

Mono Testing
a. Sometimes a sore throat isn't from strep, it's mono. More than 90 percent of the population has been exposed to mono, and it usually shows itself in adolescents. While treatment is mostly limited to addressing the symptoms, patients with mono should refrain from contact sports for six weeks. We can test for mono on-site. If necessary, we can send additional blood work to a lab for confirmation.
